MANI: The Moon God, and brother of Sol the Sun. Flies through the night sky in his horse-driven chariot, chased by a hateful wolf. Whenever the wolf gets too close, a lunar eclipse takes place.
Feeling very blessed and very lucky, at approx. 11:13 AM, Friday, March 28/08, we witnessed and took part in the arrival of our newest boy, a gorgeous red brindle. Known state side as Mr. Jake Phoenix, he shall now be know as "Mani". He stands 5' 11', as he's always on his hind legs, and always in trouble., Thank God. Our girls, Meggie Mey and Minute had to have an operation to have their noses put back into joint, but the prognosis is good!
Mani, on the other hand truly believes his name is "Mani NO" and "Mani BACK". His prognosis is good as well. Right now he believes the world is his oyster, however, he'll soon learn the rights he has are about the size of a clam shell, but the love he'll get is as big as an ocean. He's already learning that.
